I’ve been MIA for a while but am back now with a quick review for the latest BYS: Colour Change range of nail polishes! For those that like quirky nail polishes and want something fun and a little different, this is for you. Oh and I forgot to mention, it’s cheap as chips! Selling at $4.95 per bottle, you can collect them all!
I was a little hesitant to try this because the colours are a little more “out there” then I’m accustomed to. However, Vira peer pressured me (I kid I kid ^_^) into buying it and I am loving this! The first colour I bought was the Glitter Purple N285. This bottle will give you the pink/light purple/dark purple shades and is one of the few glitter types in the range. Also, it’s the colour that shows the differences in colours most obviously.
Here’s what it looks like:
On the left, you’re seeing the dark purple and is the result of extremely cold weather. On the right, you see a much lighter shade of purple/pink and it’s when I’m in a warmer room. Basically, it changes based on your temperature (not so much your mood afterall hehe) and goes from dark dark purple to light pink. I wasn’t able to capture a picture of the link pink because it’s now winter in Australia and the only way to get the light pink is to be in a room with the heater on full blast or I need to submerge my nails in hot water.
Overall, this is a fun polish to have around. Easy to apply and dries relatively quickly. I put a quick coat of a fast drying top coat on to give it a bit of shine. It lasts quite some time but eventually you’ll want a new colour to play with =)
I’ve also purchased the Salmon coloured bottle and will be trying it out soon. Maybe I’ll come back with pictures ^_^ Who knows!
Have a lovely weekend people!
